It's four gold stars for Enfield's Parks

Enfield's parks are some of the best say London in Bloom after giving gold awards to four of them.

Forty Hall was judged to have the finest country park in London and won its category outright at the London in Bloom awards on 23rd September.

The Enfield awards will be given out at the Royal Chace Hotel in November.

Town, Grovelands, and Oakwood Park also got gold medals, and Jubilee and Pymmes Park won silver gilt awards, while the entire borough came second as best London in Bloom Borough Large City.

In total Enfield scooped ten awards.

As part of the judging process two London in Bloom judges spent two days being escorted around Enfield by Enfield in Bloom manager Karen Gurrey.

Julie Bland, spokeswoman for Enfield In Bloom said: "We would like to thank all who contributed to these Awards which have been a fantastic achievement for everyone who lives or works in the borough."
