physical activity in Enfield there is a very special event taking place in March that you cannot afford to miss!

If you are a sports club or organisation that delivers sports or On Thursday 7 March beginning at 7.00pm at Enfield Civic Centre a special ‘Club Forum’ is being held to help all Enfield’s sports groups, clubs and organisations perform as well as they can.

There will be free advice by experts on how to:

-          apply for funding to enhance your club

-          tap into volunteering programmes

-          promote physical activity with your club and understand commissioning

-          develop the club and achieve the ‘Everybody Active’ Mark

-          include disabled people into your organisation

-          find out about the different kinds of venues that are available for hire.

Experts in the field will also be on hand to speak to you about your specific needs.

Cllr Bambos Charalambous, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure said “In tough economic times many sports clubs and teams can suffer financial hardship.

“Issues such as increasing membership and finding money for equipment and team strips can be challenging and finding a regular venue to play at can be hard for smaller groups.

“This event is free and is a fantastic opportunity for all clubs, groups and organisations involved in sports and physical activity in the borough of Enfield to find out how to maximise their income and membership.”
