Published Monday, 01 October 2012

Customer Services Week is here!

National Customer Services Week is taking place between 1-5 October 2012.

It will be an opportunity for residents to find out more from Enfield Council and learn how to get the best from our Customer Services Team, as well as help the Council to find out how we can further improve our services.

During the Week, Enfield Town Library and Edmonton Green Library will be holding IT sessions where you can find out how to access the Council’s Services online which are available 24/7, allowing you to access our services whenever and wherever you need them.

Our dedicated staff will be on hand to greet you at John Wilkes House in Ponders End, and leaflets will be on display providing details of our services and the benefits you could be entitled to.

Customers applying for the Council’s Housing Needs Register will also be asked to complete a survey, so we can gauge the level of interest for completing the form online.

At the Council’s Civic Centre, cashiers wearing sashes will direct visitors to the help they need and show you how you can make your payments quickly and simply by setting up a Direct Debit. .

Get Involved

At all our locations, our Customer Service Officers, library staff and cashiers will be handing out comment cards. These can also be found online. Everyone who visits us will be asked to complete them as they will not only help us to understand what we are doing well but most importantly, what we can do better. Customer Services Advisors will also be prompting any customers to complete the comment card online when they call in.

All customers who complete a comment card at one of our venues or online will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one of two prizes:

First prizeForty Hall Tour for four – see the newly refurbished Jacobean mansion Forty Hall, a magical experience!

Second prize – Theatre tickets to see Mother Goose at Millfield Theatre – Christmas comes early for our runner up!

Cllr Achilleas Georgiou, Deputy Leader said “As usual we will be celebrating Customer Services Week by ensuring our residents get fast and easy access to the information or help they require.

“Staff in all our public buildings will be on hand to assist visitors to go online, or to find out what they need using our 1000 number, which allows them to access council services 24 hour a day in the comfort of their home.

“Our staff are always willing to go the extra mile to help – and we need feedback on how we are doing as a council when we serve you. So I would urge everyone to fill out a comment card, which will be available in council buildings and online. Tell us what you think and maybe win a prize!”
