Are you interested in heritage? If so the Enfield Town Conservation Area Study Group wants to hear from you!

Enfield Town

Enfield Council is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of our borough, and each of our Conservation Areas has its own study group who are invaluable sources of local information.

Enfield Town's group is looking for some additional members. They are an informal gathering of people interested in history and heritage, and who bring a variety of views to the meetings where local planning and environmental issues are raised. They are also consulted on Planning Applications in the Enfield Town Conservation Area.

You do not have to have technical expertise but you do have to be interested in the future of Enfield Town and in making it a better place.

The group meet approximately once a month at 7.30pm in the evening.

Cllr Del Goddard, Cabinet Member for Regeneration said “Enfield Town has undergone some important changes recently and it likely to face more changes to its historical fabric and buildings.

“Enfield Council really values the contribution local people make to safeguarding our borough for future generations. If you are interested in getting involved please let the Study Group know. This is a great example of localism in action.”
