96% get schools of their choice

On the National Offer Day for secondary schools over 96% of Enfield parents received the news that their children would be able to attend a school of their preference.

Cllr Ayfer Orhan, cabinet member for schools and children’s services, said, “Enfield has again participated in the PAN London Co-ordinated Admissions System.

“This helps all London authorities, together with Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey and Thurrock to exchange information about applications to each other’s schools to reduce the number of children receiving multiple offers.

“Once again I am pleased to announce that there are sufficient school places in Enfield for every child transferring from primary to secondary schools this year.”

2012                   2,382 applications   -   64%
