I hereby give notice that the audit of accounts for the London Borough of Enfield for the years ending 31 March 2007 and 31 March 2008 has now been completed.

For the 2006/07 accounts, an unqualified opinion and an unqualified conclusion on the Authority's arrangements for securing value for money was issued on 28 September 2007. The audit certificate on the accounts was issued on 31 July 2009 by the Audit Commission. A report in the public interest under Section 8 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 has not been issued.

For the 2007/08 accounts, an unqualified opinion and an unqualified conclusion on the Authority's arrangements for securing value for money was issued on 30 September 2008. The audit certificate on the accounts was issued on 31 July 2009 by the Audit Commission. A report in the public interest under Section 8 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 has not been issued.

The completed statements of accounts are now available for inspection by local government electors, and may be viewed between 9am and 5pm at:
