Albany Park to Trent Park (L.O.O.P.17) Walk

If you are interested in finding out more not just about Enfield but its beautiful Green Belt, why not join ex parks ranger Andy Hawksworth on a fantastic trip around some of the borough's most interesting spots on the Albany to Trent Park LOOP 17 Walk this Sunday?

Meet 10.00am at Albany Leisure Centre car park, Hertford Road, Enfield
Approx 2.30pm finish. Bring a packed lunch and wear stout footwear.
Walking the 9 mile section of the famous London Outer Orbital Path, and taking in some of Enfields most amazing Green Belt country, Andy will start in the urban surroundings of the Hertford Road and then take you through country parks, some of which posses an ancient and famous history.
The walk then leads participants through former Royal hunting grounds, including farmland, Forty Hall Park and then finishes at Trent Country Park.
Please make sure you plan your return trip, (Cockfosters Tube Station and buses are nearby), as return transport will not be available.
Cllr Bambos Charalambous, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture said These ever popular FREE walks are a wonderful way to get out, meet new friends, and find out from experts more about the history and diversity of Enfields wonderful parks and open spaces.
The London Orbital LOOP Walk is special in that it takes in such a diverse terrain of urban and Green Belt. This walk is led by guide Andy Hawksworth who has been specially brought in to speak about nature and wildlife found in the area.
