Latest update from the Metropolitan Police:

Officers continue to proactively arrest those involved in disorder both on the street and as a result of detective work. There have been a total of 770 arrests so far.

In Enfield, there have been no arrests related to the disorder, no officers or members of the public reported as injured and no incidents of note.

Between Saturday night and Tuesday morning 525 arrests were made - 310 of which were overnight on Monday.

Officers in Enfield as across the MPS are working additional shifts with leave cancelled to ensure that officers are posted to High Visibility Community Reassurance Patrols.

Yesterday the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson visited Enfield with the Temporary Commissioner, Tim Godwin, to speak to local independent businesses and to walk through Enfield Town.
