Message from Enfield Business and Retailers Association Ltd

The recent public order disturbances that have taken place in some of our town centres has deeply affected Enfield’s business community.
Unfortunately they have borne the brunt of the damage and it is now a priority to get them open again and trading as soon as possible.
The businesses on the high roads and in the town centres are key to the economy of Enfield and provide essential services for residents. It is therefore vital that we continue to support them in any way we can.
EBRA are here to help. Our Town Centre Managers are actively involved in the process of getting our businesses back to normal as quickly as possible. If you need any assistance please contact our office below.
EBRA is working with the Metropolitan Police, Enfield Council, Enterprise Enfield and all other business partners to ensure that affected businesses are back up and running as a matter of urgency and to ensure that they continue to serve their local communities.
Businesses can access additional help from Enterprise Enfield who are offering business advisors who can assess the impact of damage, offer cash flow advice and explore other options that they might find useful. If affected businesses call Enterprise Enfield on 020 8443 5457 and quote reference TCS, they can make an appointment to see an advisor as soon as possible.
Any businesses that have been cordoned off by the authorities and are unable to open may be able to claim rate relief for the period of restriction. If a business was outside of the cordon but had been looted or damaged which prevented it from opening, there may also be a case for claiming relief for this period. Visit the Council's website http://www.enfield.gov.uk/ for more information or contact the Business Rates department on the number below.
