Andrew Lansley offers Enfield more time before he makes decision
Published Monday, 04 April 2011
The Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley, has given a time extension to the response from Enfield about the future of our hospitals. This deadline has now been extended to the 19th April.
After that he will make a decision.
Enfield Council working towards the original four week deadline has already held a public meeting, met with doctors and patient representatives, discussed issues with Department of Health experts and organised a blog for public views.
Cllr Doug Taylor, Leader of Enfield Council said "The Council will respond ahead of the extension in order to give Andrew Lansley and his team time to consider the points made, so they can carry out any work they require to meet his deadline."
