The exhibition will be held next Wednesday 22 September 2010.

The drop-in event which will showcase designs from the three short-listed bidders, will be held from 5.00pm till 8.00pm at St Paul's Church Parish Hall, High Road, New Southgate N11 1PN.

Residents have already been to view sites the developers have built elsewhere, the comments from these visits and the exhibition will then feed into the negotiations with the bidders:

Mulalley & Co Ltd / One Housing Group
Barratts / London and Quadrant
Notting Hill Housing Trust / Higgins Construction

The Ladderswood redevelopment is the first scheme to come through as part of the Council's New Southgate Masterplan which is considering improvements in the wider area.

The site provides a development opportunity for a mixed use scheme with a combination of flats, maisonettes and family houses and commercial space.

Cllr Del Goddard, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Improving Localities said, "The exhibition gives the Council the opportunity to engage the local community in meaningful discussions about the future design of the Ladderswood redevelopment.

"Getting feedback from residents on the designs is vital if we are to create a strong and identifiable neighbourhood which people will be proud to call home."
