Council makes moving to Enfield easier

They say death, marriage and moving can be the three most stressful things in life.
The Council already helps people through the first two, and now it's made moving to Enfield a lot easier.
From this week new residents will be able to find out all they need to know about moving to Enfield at a click of a mouse.
Which is good news for the 20, 000 new residents who move to the borough every year
New movers can simply click on the new residents' page on this website to find out when their waste is collected, and where their local park, recycling bank, doctor and chemist are located.
Cllr Achilleas Georgiou, Cabinet Member for Public and Service Delivery said: "Moving for most people is massively stressful, but thanks to our new residents page we can make things easier.
"It means new residents won't have to make loads of phone calls to several different organisations to find out who their doctor is or when their rubbish will be collected.
"From now on they can get all of this essential information in one place at a click of a button."
Cllr Georgiou said the new residents' page is just the start of the Council's new approach to communications.
He continued "The Council is determined to improve its communication to residents, both existing and new.
"This new page on the website is the shape of things to come, where the Council will be more in-tune with what our residents want, and where we can provide better information for them in the way they want."
