New development by Chancerygate brings seal of approval

Published Friday, 19 February 2016

This week Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration & Business Development, Cllr Alan Sitkin, welcomed the news that industrial developer Chancerygate has acquired a 3.2 acre development site in Lockfield Avenue, Enfield.

The site, located within the established Brimsdown Industrial Estate, will see units built by Chancerygate ranging from 4,500 sq ft up to 60,000 sq ft and be available next year.

Cllr Sitkin said: “It’s great news to hear that prestigious businesses like Chancerygate are choosing Enfield for their new developments, especially after their successful venture into Enfield last year at Lumina Park, where 11 of the 12 units were committed to buyers prior to the start of construction.

“This new build will bring new companies to Enfield, which in turn will bring jobs, revenue and opportunities for residents which in turn boosts the local economy.

“Enfield Council is always taking positive steps to help companies relocate to the borough, and we welcome businesses of all sizes to come here. We are ideally positioned for transport links and can offer a skilled workforce.”

Eddie Cook, Managing Director for Chancerygate said: “The Brimsdown area is recognised as one of north London’s principle industrial and logistics hubs and is a location we have targeted to speculatively develop our product further.

"We had a great response to our scheme at Lumina Park and on the back of this we are delighted to once again be bringing new industrial space to the borough to further generate employment and opportunity for local and national businesses.”
