Enfield's Newest Wine Bar

Published Wednesday, 24 June 2015

Enfield’s newest wine bar will fling open its doors on Thursday (25 June) so why not pay it a visit and sample some of the fantastic wines it has to offer.

Dugdale wine bar

Local company Eco Vino Teatro will open its doors at the Dugdale Centre at 6pm and start serving up a rich selection of organic, biodynamic, sustainable and natural wines.

The centre is owned and managed by Enfield Council and is ideally located close to Enfield Town station, making it the perfect venue to relax and unwind after a hard day’s work and before catching a show in the theatre itself.

The Wine Bar will officially open prior to the performance of I, Elizabeth, the Dugdale Centre’s latest show, adapted and performed by Rebecca Vaughan and directed by Guy Masterson.

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration and Business Development, Cllr Alan Sitkin, said: “We want to create an increasingly thriving night time economy in our town centres and our new wine bar will provide a pleasant and vibrant atmosphere in which theatre goers and visitors can spend an evening with friends.

“This is all part of our wider strategy to provide residents with alternative leisure venues to central London and make Enfield town their destination of choice when they are deciding where to go for a night out.”
