Give and Take Saturday 30 May – 12 noon till 3.00pm
St George's Parish Hall & Community Centre, 706 Hertford Road, Freezywater, London, EN3 6NR

Joining in with Camden, Hackney, Haringey, Barnet, Islington and Waltham Forest Councils Give and Take days are  a great way to reuse items that are too good to throw away but no longer needed.

Bring along any reusable items and take away anything you want. It’s all free.

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Cllr Daniel Anderson, said: “The Give & Take Day is a wonderful idea to get people working together to put their unwanted items to good use and to pass them on to someone who needs them.

“These events are a really good way of ensuring items do not go to waste and are not dumped. I hope that it is a really popular event, and that more of these take place”

Examples of what you can bring: furniture, household goods, pots/pans, kitchenware, books, CDs, DVDs, toys, bikes, plants, garden tools, gently used clothes.

Examples of items that will not be accepted: electronics, televisions, computer monitors.

Items can only be taken in the last hour, before then it is donations only.
