Published Friday, 15 May 2015

Two million pounds will be invested in Enfield parks over the next year, Enfield Council has announced.

The cash will be spent on improving children's play areas, paths and fencing in the borough's open spaces, with the work due to be completed by March 2016.

The project will greatly improve access, help protect our parks and give play areas a new lease of life by installing fantastic new equipment for toddlers and older children to play on.

Cllr Daniel Anderson, Enfield Council's Cabinet Member for Environment said "Our parks are already welcoming havens for everyone to enjoy, but this significant investment will improve them further and give children in Enfield two million reasons to smile when they pay our playgrounds a visit."
