Construction training with EnfieldThinks

Anyone interested in a career in the construction industry should make sure they attend Enfield Thinks’ FREE construction sessions in May. These sessions will look to give an introduction to all aspects of the trade and help direct you towards a career in construction.

Lecturers from The College of Haringey Enfield and North East London (CONEL) will be on hand to guide you through some of the latest methods of construction in carpentry, brickwork, plumbing and painting and decorating. This event will introduce you to some of the materials and building techniques used within the construction sector.

The series of FREE classes will be held at EnfieldThinks’ pop-shop on Burleigh Way. You can sign up to them by either visiting the website, Link, or visiting the shop to sign up in person.

The dates are:
18 May - 2.00pm to 4.00pm
19 May - 2.30pm to 4.00pm
20 May - 10.00am to 11.30am
21 May - 2.00pm to 4.00pm

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Cllr Alan Sitkin has said “The building and construction trade is growing faster than ever, and anyone interested in getting training and a career in this area should go to one of these sessions.

EnfieldThinks will be showcasing the very best that Birkbeck, University of London; Enfield Council; Barnet & Southgate College; Capel Manor College and The College of Haringey, Enfield & North East London have to offer from 7th April to 27th June.
