Dust off your dancing shoes and strut your stuff around Enfield because the Enfield Night Hike 2015 is fast approaching.

Night Hike

The theme for this year’s 15 kilometre walk on Friday 22 May is disco party night, and Enfield Council’s Everybody Active Team is organising the event to raise money for the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

To add a bit of glitz and glamour to proceedings the council wants walkers to put on their glad rags, flashing head boppers and neon bands (provided on entry) and strut their funky stuff for these two wonderful local charities.

Entry to the event costs £15 and residents can enter online by visiting

Last year more than 450 people took part and raised an amazing £14,571.38.

Enfield Council’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Achilleas Georgiou, said: “The Enfield Night Hike is a really popular annual event and is enormous fun to take part in.

“I’d urge people to get dressed up and boogie on down round the route and help us raise lots of money for two fantastic causes.”
