Last chance to join the Enfield Night Hike

Published Wednesday, 18 June 2014

It’s your last chance to put on some colourful bunny ears and pyjamas and raise money for local cancer charities at the Enfield Council organised Night Hike next Friday (June 27).

So if you fancy throwing on some trainers and walking, running or hobbling your way round 15 kilometres of Enfield for a good cause, why not sign up today?

Over the last three years, approximately £70,000 was raised to help research and support of local cancer charities in Enfield. The Hike starts at Enfield Civic Centre and travels through Southbury Road, Hertford Road, Old Park Ridings and back to the Civic Centre.

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Sport, Youth and Public Health, Cllr Rohini Simbodyal, said: “The Enfield Night Hike is a great event and raises money for some fantastic causes every year. I’d urge everyone to dust off their bunny ears, get dressed up and sign up for this fabulous fundraiser.”
