Children's CD gives heart to Haiti
Published Friday 5th February 10
Children at Galliard Primary School in Edmonton N9, raised over £1850 for the Haiti appeal. At a recent school council meeting children said that they wanted to do something positive for the appeal.
They composed a song writing the words and music and they have recorded it to sell as a CD to raise even more money.
The words are:
We'll make this a good day, Haiti
We'll make this a good day, Haiti
We
will make you smile,
In a Galliard style,
Helping you do that extra
mile
We'll make this a good day, Haiti
Headteacher, Penny
Sullivan, said, "Our children were determined to go ahead with this and decided
on a number of activities that would swell the funds. They have done remarkably
well."
