Councillors in hot seat as new salon launched

Yesterday, (Wednesday 18 February), Cllr Alan Sitkin, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Cllr Ayfer Orhan, Cabinet Member for Education, Children’s Services and Protection paid a visit to the HEAT hair salon in Enfield to see for themselves how this modern hairdressing academy is creating opportunities for local people to train in the profession.
Love in the Air at Valentine's Disco

‘Wanna Be Friends’, part of the ‘Learning for Life Charity’, held a disco with music and dancing at Forty Hall on Valentine’s Day, supported by Enfield Council, which saw over 200 young people with special needs coming together to make new friends within their local area.

Land charges team nominated for award

An Evening of Light Opera at Forty Hall

Renowned soprano Claudia Haussmann will be joined by mezzos Laura Whitbread, Harriet Birchall, tenors Luke Churchill, Rory Carver, and local songstress Maria Evangelou to fill Forty Hall with classical opera for one night only (Saturday 14 March).
