Enfield clamps down on council tax arrears

Enfield Council is getting tough on people who refuse to pay their council tax. The authority already collects 98% of all council tax and is in the top ten performing boroughs for tax collection. It has now appointed a collection company as part of a pilot project to target historic debt previously considered un-collectable.
