History and fun in Forty Hall Circular Walk

This Sunday an extra special 6 mile walk will be taking place which kicks off in Forty Hall carpark. Called the Forty Hall Circular Walk, this interesting stroll will be taking in some of the best of the local beauty spots that the area has to offer. Stout footwear will be required!

Stairway to Heaven as New Jacobean Staircase graces Hall

This week a very important piece of work took place as part of the ongoing renovations at Forty Hall in Enfield, a project which has been made possible with a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grant of just over £1.8million. The Victorian staircase, thought to have been installed circa 1895 was removed, to be replaced by a replica Jacobean staircase, containing over 6 tonnes of oak.
