Tenders and contracts
Introduction:
The Corporate Procurement Team is responsible for facilitating Procurement activities throughout the Council. Most procurement is devolved to the service departments across the Council. They determine their requirements and we help them to access the market to source the best value suppliers.Contracts & Tendering
Future tender opportunities with the London Borough of Enfield for the supply of Goods, Services and Works will be advertised when required. Enfield Council regularly collaborates with other authorities and public sector buying organisations on specific procurement projects.Corporate Procurement Policy
All procurement undertaken by the London Borough of Enfield must follow the contract procedure rules. The rules reflect the Council’s regulations in addition to the UK and EU procurement directives. The rules enable us to ensure that fair and transparent procurement processes are in place. London Borough of Enfield’s payment policy is via BACS transfer only. If you are successful in selling to the Council, then you will need to provide your bank details on headed stationery.Contract Management
Contract management is important to Enfield and we are working towards a common standard of monitoring contracts across all services. This will ensure that all outsourced providers are delivering to the expected standards and provide a method of resolving issues before they become problems. Further information will be made available as this area develops. In the meantime, if you have a contract with the Council that is not meeting service objectives and needs improvement, you should contact the manager of the Service Department in writing to progress resolution. If the matter cannot be resolved at a local level, you should request details of a more senior manager in the structure.Further information will be made available as this area develops.
