Transport and streets

It is important to everyone who lives in the borough that transport flows freely along Enfield's streets and we are continually working towards maintaining a well maintained road network and good public transport system, affording Enfield good links with central London and the rest of the country.

Pedestrians, as well as cyclists, private car owners, delivery vehicles and bus passengers, all benefit from reduced congestion and pollution. Our purpose is to plan, implement and enforce all parking, traffic and transportation schemes in the borough and work with Transport for London to maintain the good condition of the borough's roads.
