Victorians Loan Box

The artefacts and teaching resources in this box are designed to complement QCA History Unit 11: 'What was it like for children living in Victorian Britain?' and Unit 12: 'How did life change in our locality in Victorian times?'.

Handling, observing and asking questions about these artefacts will help students to find out about the lives of Victorian children, explore characteristic features of Victorian times, and understand how the area changed over time.
