Community Safety

Community safety in Enfield will significantly improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.  It will create an environment that is free from the fear of crime: people will be safe, they will feel safe, and social and economic activities can flourish.

Through the Safer and Stronger Communities Board (SSCB), we are working with other key bodies such as the police, fire service, probation service, and business and voluntary groups to implement our latest Partnership Plan.

The Community Safety Unit focuses on areas such as anti-social behaviour, domestic violence and hate crime.

The unit is also responsible for providing and monitoring public CCTV cameras in Enfield using our state-of-the-art monitoring centre.
