Forty Hall and gardens

Forty Hall is a beautiful Grade I-listed Jacobean house surrounded by acres of parkland, including stunning gardens, wildflower meadows and fishing lakes. It is also home to the archaeological site of Elsyng Palace, which was the royal palace for Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.

A variety of wonderful events, many of which are free, take place at Forty Hall regularly. These include costumed tours, theatre productions, concerts, children's activities and exhibitions.  We also now have a cafe to cater for our customers.
