The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 allows access to recorded information held by public authorities.
The
Act also provides exemptions from disclosure. If we cannot disclose
the information you have asked for we will tell you what exemption(s)
apply.
Under the FOIA, public authorities are required to have
a publication scheme. The Information Commissioner's Officer (ICO)
provides a Model Publication Scheme.
Our website has been approved by the ICO as the publication scheme for the London Borough of Enfield.
Before
making an FOI request, please check our website to see if
the information you are looking for is already available. Information
that is already available, or reasonably accessible by other means, is
exempt from disclosure under the FOIA.
