Safety inspections
Houses in multiple occupation are inspected for disrepair, inadequate facilities, fire safety, general mismanagement and overcrowding.
The private sector housing standards team will identify houses through the licensing programme and from complaints by occupants. Houses are inspected and action taken to meet minimum standards set out in law.
The property address must be in Enfield.
Required information
We will usually obtain these when we visit the home:
- Tenancy agreement
- Rent book
- Other relevant documents related to the complaint
Turnaround time
We aim to respond to a request for service received by the team within 48 hours.
