Be Informed, Be Aware, Be Prepared

Have you ever wanted to know:

  • How an incident in the borough may affect you?
  • What you should do before, during or after the incident?
  • How to protect yourself, family or business?

Would you want that information:

  • Quickly
  • Accurately
  • From a trusted source
  • Direct to you without having to search for it?

If so, then now is the chance to become part of CommunitySafe.

Enfield Council and Enfield Borough Police are working together to offer an emergency warning and informing service to residents and business owners.

This service is aimed at keeping you more informed when a serious incident happens, helping you become more aware of emergencies and local risks within the area, helping you be more prepared for an emergency and helping you minimise any disruption to your lives.

The Warning and Informing service uses a system called CommunitySafe, which has been developed in conjunction with the London Resilience Team, Metropolitan Police Service, and major businesses across London to help deliver warnings, information and advice through text message and email direct to the public.

To sign up for this service go to www.communitysafe.gov.uk
