Housing Benefit is changing

Since 1 April 2011 the Government has been introducing changes to Housing Benefit that may have reduced the amount that you get. The impact of these changes could leave you struggling to meet your rent and other housing costs.

If you have been affected by these changes, you should have received a letter telling you of your new housing benefit total. Otherwise, you may have already noticed that the amount you get have gone down.
