What are my options for moving home?

Enfield Council's Fresh Start Scheme can help you move quickly to a home of your choice.

What are the benefits of Fresh Start?

Renting privately means you may only have to wait a few weeks for a home of your choice.

You can choose:

• a private rented home that suits you; 
• the area. It does not have to be in the Enfield Borough;
• the type of property you want.  It can be a house with a garden.

Who is Fresh Start for?

• Tenants living in temporary accommodation provided by Enfield Council .
• Housing Association tenants living in Enfield.
• Enfield council tenants.

Last year we helped 143 families successfully move into homes of their choice. 

Mrs A and her 4 children moved from their two bedroom flat into a four bedroom house so that the children had more room to study. "We are so much happier now we have enough space."

Miss P moved from her two bedroom first floor flat into a house with a garden which her family could visit more easily.  "It's the best thing we ever did."
