Football season bookings

There are a number of football pitches in Enfield available for hire during the 2011/12 season.

Block bookings

Application forms for block bookings for the season are sent out in June; they need to be returned by mid-July.

Priority is given to previous bookers when allocating pitches.

For the 2011/12 season, teams will be allocated to pitches at the larger sites.

Cancellation of match bookings

Teams who cancel matches at least three working days before the date of play will be issued with a credit. Credits can be used to play a game later in the season.

 

 

 

Pitch cancellations

In the event of bad weather or poor pitch conditions, the Parks Duty Manager may cancel play.

If the duty manager cancels play, we will issue a credit for the game. Credits can be used to play a game later in the season; cash refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances and with the Parks Business Manager's agreement.

 

The duty manager sends the Parks Business Unit a 'pitch return' document each week; a team's credits are calculated based on this information.

Enfield 's playing field pitches are available until the second week of May for teams to use credits and finish their fixtures for the season.

 

No credit will be issued for matches cancelled by the referee or for teams that do not turn up.

Cash refund for matches cancelled by the team will not be given under any circumstance.
