Youth Action Volunteering Enfield (YAVE)

Youth Action Volunteering Enfield (YAVE)

YAVE recruits young people aged between 16 and 19 from secondary schools and colleges for volunteering opportunities or projects in the community.

YAVE Youth Workers visit secondary schools and arrange volunteering placements that meet the interests of, and allow, young people to take responsibility, contribute to the community and test career options. Each placement lasts for 15 hours.

If you are between 16 and 19 years old, studying and you live or go to school in Enfield, YAVE can help you find a volunteering placement and provide information about volunteering opportunities.

To find out when the youth workers will visit your school, or more about volunteering, call us. It is free to join YAVE.

You can become a Millennium Volunteer if you are between 16 and 21 years old and able to commit up to 200 hours in a year. Call 020 8366 9546 for more information.

Youth clubs provide young people between 13 and 19 years old with safe opportunities to work with others and to contribute to their communities. Email to: youthmatters@enfield.gov.uk for information.

Volunteering placements vary. Some opportunities are available only at certain times of the year (e.g. working on a holiday project).
