There is one museum in the London Borough of Enfield that is supported and run by Enfield Council it is called Forty Hall Museum.

  • Forty Hall is a Grade I listed Jacobean House. It holds local history displays about the London Borough of Enfield.
  • The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 4pm. Entrance is free. Disabled access is only available to the ground floor.

Enfield Museum Service brings together and celebrates the history and diversity of Enfield; its people and places.

  • By collecting, caring for and interpreting objects, the Museum Service creates opportunities for everyone to experience, learn from and enjoy the past and present. These materials are available in a variety of formats and in an educational, enetertaining and inclusive manner.
  • The Museum Service also organises exhibitions throughout the borough. These are normally located at local libraries and at the Civic Centre.
  • The Museum Service works on many projects with the local community and always welocmes your comments and suggestions. The Curatorial Office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. You can email them or telephone 020 8379 1468 or 020 8379 1469.
