Access arrangements
The Local Land Charges team operates as a One Stop Shop for access to and provision of the following services:
- Personal search of the Local Land Charges Register
- CON 29R: Statutory Registers
- Non-statutory information
How to request a personal search
For each enquiry, you must complete a One Stop Shop Order Form and submit it to us by email, fax or post. We can also email the form to you in Excel format.
The form provides a breakdown of fees required (where appropriate) for CON 29 questions.
For requestes received by 10:30am, the results will be available that afternoon. For requests received after 10:30am, the results will be available the following afternoon.
How to collect your personal search
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:00pm to 4:00pm. (Closed Wednesdays)
When you arrive at the Civic Centre, take a ticket and wait to be called by the Customer Services Advisor.
You may pay £3.00 for a photocopy of the search results, or you can copy the information down yourself for no charge. Please note, you cannot photograph, or remove the document to photocopy it yourself.
Due to our quick response times to searches, we are unable to accept cancellations of search requests once we have started work on these.
Search data that is not requested will still be charged for; you will need to pay the charges at your next visit.
