Donations, loans and bequests to the Local Studies Library

The Local Studies Library and Archive welcomes all donated materials to enrich its collection.

We are especially interested in books, documents, maps and other printed materials related to Enfield's history, neighbouring areas and people.

We may also consider loans of items of historical or research merit.

We will assess the offers using a range of criteria. In general, the older or rarer or more unique the material is, the more likely it will be of interest to us.

Please do check with us before disposing of local historical materials. If we already own copies of them, we may suggest alternative beneficiaries who can put your materials to good use.
