Local Land Charges

The Local Land Charges Team are responsible for maintaining the Statutory Register of Local Land Charges and completing officially submitted searches of the Register and Enquiries of the CON 29R. The CON 29R provides additional information concerning the specific property or land which may concern a potential purchaser for example, highway information, road status, building control etc.

The Local Land Charges Register is a 'public' Register; "Personal Searches" may be made by members of the public, or agents which enables them to inspect the Register themselves on payment of the fee.

From January 2009 the Land Charges Team became a 'One Stop Shop' for all property related issues .
