Council Tax - Discounts

We may award a Council Tax discount if a household or single person has made an application and meets the necessary criteria.

The full Council Tax bill assumes there are two or more adults living in a property. We can give a 25 percent discount if only one adult lives in the property.

Enfield Council periodically reviews all applications for single person discount using credit bureaux data. The authority is under a duty to protect public funds and we may therefore use the information you provide on this form for the prevention and detection of fraud.

You may also get a discount if anyone who lives with you is eligible for a discount, providing this only leaves one other adult in the property.
