London Borough of Enfield

Street cleaning and litter removal

Street cleaning and litter removal

We clean all residential roads at least once a week, with town centres and other high usage areas on a continuous beatsweep cycle throughout the day. We use a combination of mechanical and manual sweeping to best suit the demands of each location.

The cleaning takes place everyday, with a restricted service on weekends and bank holidays in key areas.

Street washing and gum removal take place regularly across the Borough.

Weed spraying on all public roads and paths takes place four times each year to keep the areas free from weeds.

All litter bins and dog waste bins are emptied at least once each week; town centre litter bins are usually emptied daily. Dog waste can now be disposed of in general litter bins as long as it is wrapped in paper or put into a bag.

If you see an overflowing or damaged dog waste or general litter bin please contact us.
