Removal of dead animals

We remove dead animals from public areas.

We will arrange for dead animals to be removed from the public highway within four hours, if report is made between the hours of 8am and 4pm. If report is made out of these hours the removal will take place the next working day, unless deemed an emergency case.

Certain animals, like dogs and horses, will be reported to the police.

If you live on a housing estate or in a property managed by a housing association, you can report incidents to your housing officer or managing agent.
