Free collections of electrical items
The following electrical items can be collected free for recycling from households in the Borough. There is a limit of 6 items per collection but no limit on the number of collections a household can receive per year.
The following items can be collected:
Cookers
Computers
Dish washers
DVD players
Fridges and Freezers
Lawn-mowers (Electric)
Kettles
Microwaves
Stereos
Storage heaters (without bricks)
Tumble driers
TVs
Videos
Washing machines
All of the above items are recycled once they have been collected.
