Commercial waste - special collections

Businesses in Enfield can have bulky waste or large amounts of waste collected by the Council.

A commercial organisation has to dispose of its waste correctly. To find out how to dispose of waste (including details of local organisation that offer waste collection services), contact our Commercial Waste Team.

How to request this service:

• Fill in the eform, email or telephone 020 8379 1000.
• Our Commercial Waste Officers will visit you to discuss your needs, the best method of collection and cost.
• The cost depends on the type and volume of waste.

How the service works:

• You have to provide us with a written description of the waste.
• On the day of collection, ensure that the waste is packed properly using suitable containers.

Collection hours: Monday-Saturday, 6am - 4pm

There are restrictions on what we can and cannot collect.

We cannot collect these items:

• Animal carcases and parts of them (including blood, hides, skin, bones and feathers)
• Asbestos and items containing asbestos
• Electrical goods defined in Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (including telephones and fluorescent tubes)
• Gas bottles
• Gypsum, plasterboard and other builders' waste
• Liquids (including oil and paint)
