Conservation Area - Management Proposals

The Council has also approved, on the 17th January 2007 a Conservation Area Management Proposals document. This contains short and medium term proposals and details programmed works designed to preserve and enhance each of the Borough's sixteen conservation areas. The document is in two parts; part 1 describes proposals common to all conservation areas; part 2 is in 16 chapters, one for each conservation area, and details proposals specific to each one.

Approval and publication of the Conservation Area Character Appraisals and the Conservation Area Management Proposals gives Enfield Council a 100% score against BVPI 219, the Government's target for Council performance in conservation areas. This makes us one of the top performing Councils in the UK for conservation.
