Conservation Area - Character Appraisals
Enfield Council approved on the 12th April 2006 Character Appraisals for each of the Borough's sixteen conservation areas. These are statements including photographs and maps that describe what it is about the character of each area that is special and that the Council think is important to preserve and enhance. They have been the subject of extensive public consultation.
Please note that Church Street, Edmonton Conservation Area and the nearby Fore Street, Edmonton Conservation Area are described together in one document. Similarly, Winchmore Hill Green Conservation Area and the nearby Vicars Moor Lane Conservation Area are described together in one document. Consequently there are 14 documents in all to describe the 16 conservation areas.
