Allotments

Renting an allotment is an inexpensive way of getting your hands on valuable gardening space. Also, with increasing interest in healthy living, organic produce and a greener way of life, it has become a great way to meet fellow gardeners and socialise. We have 37 allotment sites spanning 76 hectares, or 3,000 allotment plots.

How to rent a plot

Our Parks Business Support Unit handles all enquiries for plot rentals.

  • If you are interested in renting a plot, we will direct you to either Site Managers/ Secretaries or the relevant park officer.
  • If plots are available at the site you want, you will be shown around vacant plots.
  • If you wish to proceed with renting, we will give you an application form
