Brown Badge Scheme

Bays for over 70s are being introduced in Enfield's "Pay and Display" car parks. These bays are conveniently situated for easy access. Any resident of Enfield (with the exception of Disabled Person's (BLUE) Badge holders who already receive parking concessions) and who meets the criteria can apply.

Upon completion of an application form you will need to bring it in to either:

Concessionary Travel Desk,
Civic Centre,
Silver Street,
EN1 3ES
Between 9:00am and 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (Closed weekends and Bank Holidays

Or

Concessionary Travel Desk,
1st Floor, Edmonton Centre,
South Mall,
Edmonton

Between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday - Friday (Closed weekends and Bank Holidays)

To collect a brown badge you will need to show the following:

  • Proof of residency (i.e Council tax bill, utility bill (dated within the last 3 months)
  • Proof of age
Please note: brown badges can only be displayed in brown badge parking spaces. These cannot be used in marked disabled bays (for Disabled Person's (Blue) Badge holders only.) Similary (blue) badges cannot be used in brown badge parking bays. The relevant parking charges will still apply.

The brown badge will be issued free of charge.

To use the bays, the brown badge must be on display and the appropriate parking fee must be paid. The brown badge holder must be with the vehicle at the time of parking. Misuse of the badge is a serious offence.

The scheme should be up and running by 16th November 2009.
