Penalty charges

Differential parking penalties were introduced in London on 1 July 2007. Contraventions have been grouped in levels of severity.

Penalty type	Charge
Parking penalty at the higher rate	£110 (Band B) If you pay it within 14 days of the PCN issue date, it will be reduced to £55.
Parking penalty at the lower rate	£60 (Band B) If you pay it within 14 days of the PCN issue date, it will be reduced to £30.
Contraventions of bus lane regulations	£130 If you pay it within 14 days of the PCN issue date, it will be reduced to £60.
Moving traffic contravention	£130 If you pay it within 14 days of the PCN issue date, it will be reduced to £60
Release from clamp	£70
Release from pound	£200
Storage	£40 per day
Disposal	£70
