Library services for children and young people

Young people’s library service

  • All libraries have facilities to help you with your homework or projects. Some have Homework Centres with extra staff and resources to help you.
  • If you need additional resources to complete your homework and projects, use our free homework and project  resources such Britannica and NewsBank reference services at any time you like.
  • You can also access the Internet at all Enfield Libraries (except Angel Raynham library).  If you are under 16 years old, you will need a parent or guardian to sign a form, available from the library, giving you permission.
  • If you have a library membership card and Personal Identification Number (PIN), you can book a computer to use.
  • Library membership is free and you can sign up for it easily. You do not need a signature from your parent or guardian, Your library card can be used at any Enfield library.
  • As soon as you become a library member, you can borrow books, CDs, DVDs as well as Xbox, Playstation 3, DS and Wii games.
